Grove Dyslexia is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals. Accordingly, all personal data collected will be subject to our Privacy Policy.
In order to comply with General Data Protection Regulation, this Privacy Notice explains how and why Grove Dyslexia collect, use and store personal data.
Clients’ name, date of birth, any previous assessment reports and their test data.
For students aged under 18 only, names of parent(s)/carer(s), phone numbers plus their street and email address(es).
For school/college aged students, the names and email addresses of class teachers and their SENDCo if applicable.
Details of any incidents or accidents that may affect assessment performance, e.g. illness, changes to family circumstances or first aid incident records.

So that we can gather necessary background information prior to assessment.
So that we can report on your child’s progress and communicate with you.
So that we can communicate with the relevant bodies when gathering background information.
So that we can ensure that any issues are managed correctly and with sensitivity. We aim to keep our clients safe.
Please Note:
Students and their parents/carers can access their personal data held by Grove Dyslexia by emailing. This service may be chargeable.
All personal data is supplied by the student, their parents/carers, or other education professionals who have assessed or taught the student.
All personal data is stored in locked filing cabinets or on a password protected computer/smart phone.
Personal data is never shared with third parties without prior permission.
All Assessment Reports will be kept for seven years or until the student is 19. We would therefore strongly recommend that you keep a copy of your report securely.
After this time Grove Dyslexia will not be able to supply you with a copy of your report.
Following the assessment and the compilation of the final assessment report all client questionnaires, all raw data test sheets and all other personal data will be permanently deleted/destroyed.
Should you require a copy of your assessment report, your report to be permanently deleted; or for changes/corrections made to it before this time; or to make a complaint, please notify us at: grovedyslexia@gmail.com
